Early Bird Gets The Worm #mOtIvAtIoN

Woke up at 4am to complete my lectures for my studies.

Just finished emptying my emails and it's 6am 😁😁😁

So while I'm ahead I'm going to send this daily email.

Then I'll do my programs for the day.

Then I'll hit the gym and get out of Sydney with Kiki for the weekend.

I'm feeling productive AF right now and the only reason I'm sending this email now instead of later is really just to "tick it off" and make it feel like I'm being more productive (than I really am).

Because every time you tick something off, you get a hit of dopamine.

Which is why I'm a big fan of writing things I need to do on the whiteboard.

Just so I get to tick them off.

That dopamine hit keeps me feeling productive, getting results and maintains my focus.

Just like when you complete your workout and "tick it off" and as a result, feel accomplished and even more hooked to get your goal.

And when you have a healthy day of eating and "tick off" your diet for the day.

It feels good.

But many people think motivation falls from the sky then you do what you have to do and then you get results and the cycle repeats.

1. Motivation.

2. Action.

3. Results.

But that's all wrong.

Results don't start with motivation, they start with action.

It's more like this...

1. Action.

2. Results.

3. Motivation.

And you should prefer it that way really.

So instead of relying on a fluffy unicorn of motivation to land on your shoulder and whisper in your ear to get out of bed and go to the gym.

You can rely on something tangible (you) to go to the gym, smash a session.

You determine your results, not your motivation.

So if you're looking for motivation, I can't help you.

But if you're looking for the tools to DO [action], then I can help you with your workouts, nutrition and education to get to your goals, see and feel a difference [results] and empower yourself to keep smashing it [motivation].

That's how you get results and sustain them.

Remember this...

1. Action.

2. Results.

3. Motivation.
