This was my breakfast today #notachef

I am not a whizz in the kitchen, clearly.

I just can't seem to justify the time cooking a breakfast when I have other things to do.

So I put oats, milk, berries, chia seeds and honey in a bowl and let it set in the fridge for a couple of hours and eat it in under five minutes.

I don't find that feeling of catharsis that some do when cooking.

I just want food and I want it yesterday.

Which is why my other go-to breakfast is yoghurt.

I'm even too lazy to use a bowl, I just eat it out of the pottle it comes in.

You see this suits me and the way I work but the beauty of flexible dieting is that if I didn't want to do that, I could cook up some eggs on toast.

Or have a smoothie.

And as long as my calories and macros line up with my target, I'll still get amazing results.

Which is why I'm not a fan of meal plans.

What if you don't feel like eating an egg white omelette for breakfast?

What if you're tired of eating steamed chicken, brown rice and broccolini?

Meal plan's don't fix a bad diet, they put a band aid over them.

Which is why I educate you in Team Brock Ashby how important it is to have flexibility in your diet and eat to your goals within your preferences, not to whatever a meal plan says just because it's meal 4 on Tuesday.

We're all adults.

"We don't need to be told what to eat, we need to be empowered to help decide what to eat."
