Yes lol.
Yes, that's me in the huge black hat.
At the time, I thought that hat was #swag.
I was signed to Sony Music and singing in a boyband at the time and I guess I thought I was some type of fashion icon 🤣
I thought I was put on the earth to sing to huge crowds.
I practiced writing songs and singing for about 2-3 hours per day.
I practiced dancing.
I went to jazz school to develop my guitar skills.
I did vocal lessons with my mentor.
I rehearsed with the band and performed all around NZ.
But just like my fashion sense, my singing career wasn't meant to be.
But I'm not too fussed because I know my trajectory is a lot more important than my footsteps.
Where I'm going is more important than where I've been.
Even though I invested hours and hours and years of my life trying to be a performer, I've landed on my feet as a PT (beats me 😂😂😂).
With the confidence that I built performing on stage in fornt of others.
With the organisational skills that it takes to organise a band made up of 5 dudes.
With the humility and discipline of a student in a beginners hip hop dance class.
If you're not where you want to be, welcome to the club.
We're all pretty much in the same situation.
But as opposed to getting anxious and upset that you're not there, focus on your trajectory... not the end result.
Instead of focusing on losing the 10kg that you haven't lost yet, focus on the habits it takes to lose 1kg.
Then repeat it 10x.
You follow me?
Process > results.
Which is why I focus so much on education in the TBA program.
So you understand how to create the trajectory you need, to get to where you want to be.
