You Think You're Talented? I Don't Care

This week I finished the book 'Mindset' by Carol Dweck.

This was my favourite quote from the book.

“No matter what your ability is, effort is what ignites that ability and turns it into accomplishment.”

The reason I love this is because it says we aren't defined by our ability but by our effort.

Which is great because we all have different levels of ability but are all born with the same level of effort we can give.

It's so good.

I would say it like this.

"We are as good as the effort we give, not the talent we have."

Which is is all I ask of you in TBA.
