Yesterday, we saw a snake.

A snake.

A bloody snake.

You see, in NZ we don't have snakes or deadly spiders.

So you can walk in the bush with no shoes on your feet and no worries on your mind.

I'm scared s*tless of them so I really keep my distance but there's people that would literally walk up to them and move them along with a stick or even try to pick them up.

Crazy if you ask me but I'm only scared because I don't know them.

My lack of knowledge and the rumours I've heard and seen on TV of 'deadly snake' stories make me sh*t my pants.

We are doubtful of what we don't know.

"Snakes are harmless" they say.

Yeah right lol.

Well, you obviously haven't seen the shows on animal planet that I have!

But it's the same with fitness.

From the outside it looks like a bunch of vain people grunting at the gym, weighing their chicken and broccoli and rubbing fake tan on their body in a g-string.

Sounds great... *sarcasm*

I'd run away too if I didn't know any better 😂

But as someone in the industry, let me tell you it doesn't have to be like that.

It can look like getting 10k steps per day, working out at home, eating the food you love within your daily calories and growing your knowledge base through educational videos.

But that would only be if you were in Team Brock Ashby.

Fitness is whatever you want to be as long as you are striving to get better than you were yesterday.

Then you have what it takes to achieve your goals.
