The Law Of Attraction (non-fluffy)
Today, I wrote this caption below on instagram and I want to add on a few things to it while I'm here.
As much as I don’t like the fluffy side of the law of attraction, I’m a huge believer in “you see what you want to see”.
That's less fluffy to me and feels more real.
I feel like to many people think that thinking and imagining is enough but not me.
You need to work for it too.
But too often, we forget about the great things we have and only look at the things we don’t have.
“Look at that dude on insta, I wish I had his body”. What about the fact that he’s been at it for over 10 years and has half the social and family life you do?
Did you think about that?
“What’s the point in working out, I’m wasting my time”. What about the fact that your body is working 100% fine? You have 2 working legs, 2 working arms and a perfectly functioning brain (unless you do the keto diet.... jokes).
Did you ever consider thinking how grateful you are to not be confined to a wheelchair or have lost your legs in a tragedy?
“Did you see their car? Wish I had money like them.” What about the fact that you have a car to get from A to B that allows you to do what you want in your life?
Some people have to walk everywhere.
“Look at how many followers he/she has, I’m so jealous.” Well stop talking sh*t and start posting valuable content and you might start growing a following too 🤣
Stop looking at what others have and what you don’t have because all you will see is the lack that you have in your life and miss all the greatness that you do have.
Family, friends, a functioning body, a career, a bed to sleep on, food on the plate, money in your wallet (no matter how much it is), clothes on your body etc etc.
There are many ways to look at life but you only see what you want to see.
So start setting your mind right and focus on the things you have and are grateful for.
It's nearly February of 2021.
Pull your head in.
