Botox at 27? No thx...

The other day I got a random message from someone after posting this photo saying “just a tip: botox on the face.”

I told him to piss off.

But really, I wanted to tell him to f**k off.

Not for me (I got thick skin) but for the others that couldn't handle it.

If I had low confidence, I’d be a mess right now.

If I had low self esteem, I’d be distraught.

Social media can already be a trap of comparing yourself to others that “have it better than you” (whether you are aware of it or not).

You don’t need losers sliding into your DM’s that you haven’t even met recommending you botox.

I’m 27, I don’t want Botox.

I don’t even have wrinkles.

Some people say it can be preventative but I want to age properly.

Wrinkles and all.

I’m only a quarter way through my life though mate, let man live.

I’ve coached people with low confidence and self esteem and some have come out of it but others, most, haven’t.

I’ve also known people that have taken their own life because they’re so scared of what other people think of them.

I’m okay, I have tough skin but this really isn’t okay.

What about the people that can’t handle a DM like the one I woke up to?

If you don’t have anything good to say then sit down and shut up, I say.

The words we say have the power to build each other up or tear each other down.

Every conversation we have does one or the other.

Let’s build each other up, not tear each other down.

Environment is everything and the messages we read, people we spend time with, captions we expose ourselves to, are our environment.

Just like if you want to transform your body, your environment will probably change to more home cooked nutritious meals and less take out.

More walks and less TV.

More workouts and less video games.

More sleep and less mindless scrolling on socials.
