Don't Ask, Don't Get. Simple.

My Fitbit was damaged.

I'm unsure what it was but I could hardly read the display when I looked at the time and the umber of steps I was on, so I was on their chat support seeing what they could do about it.

Initially they said they would give me 35% off a new one.

Then I asked if they could do any better.

They said they could give me 50% off a new one.

I asked again, "is that the best you can do for a loyal Fitbit customer of over three years?"

They then said that I could replace my Fitbit free of charge.

Key take home: "If you don't ask, you don't know".

And I'm not just talking about getting a Fitbit replacement.

I'm talking about looking at your face in the mirror and asking yourself, "Can you do better?"

Can you give more in your workouts?

Can you eat better?

Can you sleep more?

Can you walk to work instead of driving everywhere?

If you don't ask, you won't get!

So ask better of yourself.

Raise your standards and see what you can get away with and I can assure you it'll be much more valuable than a free smart watch.
