Peeing at 0430 #SASpee
This morning when I woke up to take a pee at 4:30am and I applied the strategy I do every time this happens.
I squint my eyes so the smallest amount of vision is possible.
I don't turn any lights on.
I use my hands to determine where the walls are and my legs to feel where the toilet is.
I use my hearing to determine my peeing accuracy.
I minimise the amount of distractions to disrupt my sleep.
I manage my environment to keep me consistently sleepy.
The less distracted I am the more likely I am to fall back to sleep.
The better my environment is managed, the more consistent I can fall back to sleep.
It's not too different to your progress in the gym.
But instead of squinting your eyes to block out light you're being more selective about what you put in your mouth.
And instead of not turning any lights on you're turning the lights out earlier to get more sleep.
Our environment is directly correlated with the person we become.
And the number of distractions in our life directly correlate with the probability we have of screwing that environment up.
And if you want to make that environment one that gets you into the best shape of your life and educates you to sustain them.
Team Brock Ashby is the place to create it.
