The Iron Or The Wedge? Let Me Help 🏌🏻
The most frustrating sport in the world is Golf.
I was okay at sport growing up but this makes me feel like a new born giraffe trying to walk.
My first tee-off, hole 1.
I did my practise swing and then lined up the ball... missed twice.
Two full swing, full effort, no contact.
Pretty embarrassing when there's 10 people behind you waiting to tee-off.
And before I even get to 'try" to hit the ball, I have to decide what club to use.
The Driver.
The 6 iron.
The 9 iron.
The wedge.
The 60 degrees?
Each club has a distance purpose and distance attached to it.
Your driver will get you down to the hole with the biggest distance.
A 60 degree will give you height when you're chipping onto the green but you won't get much distance.
I still don't really know what club to use yet but Slavco (my soon to be father in law) is an expert at that but that comes down to playing for 6-7 years.
Experience.
And I may not know what iron to use on the golf course but selecting the right club on the golf course is just selecting the right solution for the right problem.
Which I can do with my eyes closed when someone wants help from me as a personal trainer.
The driver that will help you go the distance in life is getting 7-9 hours of sleep.
The sand wedge that gets you out of 'going nowhere' in the sand is getting the right workout program for your body and goals.
The putter that you use to make small adjustments to make the winning difference is getting the right calories and macros with your nutrition.
And I know as frustrated as I feel on the golf course, there are people out there that are just as frustrated trying to get the body they have always wanted and feel confident.
If that's you.
Let me select your clubs for you and set you up for your success in TBA.
