This Fitness Crap is Hard...
I get a lot of great results in TBA but today I don't want to talk to you about getting an 8 week transformation today.
I want to talk to you about what comes after because it's easy to stick to something for 8 weeks.
Whether you fancy it or not.
Sheer motivation can get you through a lot but it can't push you through years of something you can't sustain.
Look at marriages that don't have legs.
Look at careers that flop.
Look at people that lose weight really quick, just to gain it back in a few months.
There's a lot of them because it's easy to stick to a extremely restrictive keto diet for 8 weeks but when that motivation runs out, they're back in their old habits.
This is hard... Being healthy.
Being fit.
Being your best.
Choosing the hard road over the easy road.
Delaying instant gratification for a greater long term return.
It's not easy but it's the only way you'll make a sustainable change.
So stop looking for the quick fix and look for something that you can actually stick to.
I've been training and eating well for 13 years now and it's not easy.
Most times I'd rather watch TV rather than working out because it's easier in the moment but I don't.
I invest in my future and best self and do what he would do.
And that's really what it comes down to in the end.
Looking at that high performing, goal driven version of yourself and doing what he/she would do.
Looking beyond what feels good now and seeing what will feel even better in the future.
