Wisdom Wednesday: Don't Be Someone, Do Something 🥴

Hey team,

Wisdom Wednesday is among us and I wanted to share a quote with you...

"Try to do something, not be someone." - Paraphrased from a Margaret Thatcher quote.

The original quote is: "It used to be about trying to do something. Now it's about trying to be someone."

Not only is this true with what our future generation is wanting to grow up to be, which is to be an influencer,  but this is true with how we are wanting to change our bodies.

We want to be the guy with a 6-pack, not do the things the guy with the 6-pack does.

We want to be the biggest guy in the gym, not do the things the biggest guy in the gym does.

We want the best shaped glutes in the gym, not do the things the best shaped glutes in the gym do.

This spills out of the gym too.

We want to be rich but not do the things that make a person rich like work long hours, have the courage to run a business and think smart.

We want to have a "hot" wife/husband but aren't looking at ourselves to be the person to attract that "hot" spouse.

If we focus on the trajectory not the destination, we can get there.

But so many people are selling in to the destination, without even thinking of what the trajectory was like to get there.

Hard work, consistency, mentors, coaches etc... This is what it takes to be successful in any venture we dare to pursue and what is the common denominator for all of these?

They're trajectory focused, not destination focused.

I encourage yourself to ask the question, are you trying to lose 10kg or be the person who loses 10kg?

If you can honestly say that you're trajectory focused, then sit and wait for my Facts Friday email.

But if you know this email is confronting you with a change that you need to make, hit the button below and get started.

Get a Team Brock Ashby program and be the person you need to be to achieve the goal you're trying to achieve.
