Wisdom Wednesday: The Most Common Fat Loss Issue
Hey mate,
Brock here.
"Too many people overestimate what they can achieve in the short term and underestimate what they can achieve in the long term." - Brock Ashby, 2023 😂😂😂
I don't know if this quote has been claimed already but I'm claiming it.
As a qualified personal trainer, sometimes I feel I am not even a personal trainer.
I am more like a salesman.
Not to Team Brock Ashby but to a patient and realistic mindset.
I'm all about getting people incredible results where they lose 10kg in eight weeks but the reality is, that probably will not happen for you.
And when it doesn't happen like that for you, don't get discouraged.
It's so normal even though. on social media you may feel like everyone looks like Wolverine, Thor or J-Lo overnight.
But they don't.
Slow and steady is part of the process.
I have body transformations coming out of my ears and most of them are slow and steady, and the slow and steady ones seem to be the ones that keep the weight off too.
A client of mine who is in Built By Brock is celebrating dropping 40lbs!
But this did not happen in 8 weeks.
Or 16 weeks.
Or 32 weeks.
It happened in one year.
This mum of two has obviously put in work but has confessed that she isn't working as hard as she was when she wasn't getting results.
Her methods are just more based in what works.
I hope this e-mail encourages you to keep on the path and not to give up.
Great things take time.
Just like buying a house, growing a tree from seed and a business started in the lounge of your one bedroom apartment.
Don't get caught in the trap of rushing results at the expense of the long term game which will lead to more guaranteed success.
Sure this transformation took a while, one year, but when you zoom out and look at a life that is lived to 90 years old, it's only 1/90th of your life.
And whether you give Team Brock Ashby 12 weeks, 16 weeks, one year or even five years, remember it all starts with a click of the button below.
