Motivational Monday: Is Stress Killing You Or Strengthening You?

Hey ,

I'm almost finished 'The Expectation Effect' by David Robson and the book explains how powerful the Placebo effect can be and also the power of the prediction machine, our brain.

Today I learnt that stress, although many think can be damaging to your health, can actually better it.

It's really a matter of how you perceive stress.

We all know someone who has boundless energy and can just tackle an obstacle that comes their way.

We also know the person who is constantly sick, stressed out and overwhelmed.

And although health is multifactorial, stress is a big factor that influences and challenges many but think about this..

"Stress can be a negative threat or a positive challenge."


So I want you to put this line into your morning routine and say it five times in the morning to help you navigate your day and overcome the pressures of the day you face.

"Stress is a positive challenge and makes me stronger and more resilient."
