Sat On My Ass All Day Syndrome 👨🏻💻
Today I have literally sat at my work chair all day.
As fancy and ergonomic as it is, I've been a lazy (but productive) ba$tard.
I haven't gone for a walk. My steps are literally on 2,000 as I look at my Fitbit.
I haven't even eaten at the table, I've eaten at my desk while working.
I have had zoom calls, programs to write, emails to write and meetings online.
Today has been a grind, which most days are, but as fulfilling as it is to run your own business, you have to remember also that we all run our own company. Whether you want to believe it or not.
It's called your Health.
That also needs to be prioritised amongst all the other things we do in a day and the fact is today just hasn't been that day for me like it usually is.
So as soon as I hit send on this email I'm going to the gym, then I'm having dinner, then I'm going for a walk.
We always have a choice of how we run our company.
We can be the most productive business, work our asses off and take no breaks which can yield quick results but has no longevity.
OR
You can 'work hard, play hard and train hard'. Which to me, ticks all boxes of productivity, enjoyment and fulfilment.
You all know that working for a boss that sucks... well, sucks.
So don't be that boss.
