1970's Vs. Now... Have We Got It All Wrong? β
In the 1970's there were less fat people on the beach.
Since 1500AD our population has increased 14 fold but our calorie consumption has increased 115 fold.
We are eating more calories more than ever.
But is this our fault?
Our jobs have become more sedentary.
Our lifestyles have become less active.
Our food has become more processed.
Our sleep has reduced.
Our stresses have increased.
Our streaming services are so vast we cannot keep up with all of the different TV series, movies and documentaries.
Our modern world is chewing us up and spitting us out the other end, overweight, stressed and unhealthy.
So it's time to make a change.
Here's 5 tips to get your health back on track!
1. Eat less processed foods with a high protein diet.
2. Increase your steps per day to bump up your physical activity.
3. Workout (if you aren't already).
4. Sleep 7-9 hours per night.
5. Set goals, get a plan and take action on them.
These are 5 keys to help you start making progress to a healthier you, physically and mentally.
