Mothers Day - Beautiful, yet sad...

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers and mothers to be.

It was a special day yesterday because it was my wife's first Mother's Day as a mum.

And she is an amazing one.

We took our little angel to a special lookout over Sydney and had a picnic surrounded by nature, wildlife and the two angels that make me so deeply happy.

We actually found out we were pregnant on Mother's Day last year, so it's an anniversary in some ways. We were jokingly saying it was our daughters birthday haha.

As beautiful as yesterday was, it's also a very hard day for me.

It's a reminder that I no longer have my mother to spend it with.

So every mothers day since my wife and I were married, we light the candle that we lit for her at our wedding in remembrance of her.
