6 Tips I Use To Get Shredded 🔥
I am on my 11th day of the Built By Brock 8 Week Challenge and this is how my fat loss journey has been so far 👇
I am down one kilogram and as I said in Wednesday's email, I am 'planning to the end' with a 3-4kg fat loss goal.
That will take me down to 88.9 - 87.9kg at the end of the 8 Week Challenge, which will be a nice and easy cut for me. Nothing too crazy extreme but enough to see some visible gains.
Here are some tips that I am using on myself during this fat loss phase that you can use to help guide your own body transformation:
I'm eating breakfast later.
I am not intermittent fasting but I have shifted my breakfast back to 9-10am. I find that when I eat breakfast later, I eat less calories in general throughout the day with more ease. So I have 1-2 coffees before breakfast because I wake up at 5-6am.My steps and workouts are a non-negotiable.
Even if my workouts are tired and sloppy, they're done. Even if I'm walking up and down my apartment, my steps are done.I'm eating more vegetables and fibre.
I'm not the biggest fan of vegetables but things that are really good for you are rarely easy to do. So I put frozen kale and spinach in my smoothie (in addition with the other fruit like banana, avocado, mango and mixed berries) and add a portion of veggies with my dinner, Leaving me more full and with higher fibre in my diet.I'm tracking my calories every single day.
If I don't track my calories, I eat way over them. It's just how I roll. I need the accountability.I'm weighing myself more than once per week.
Just like tracking my calories, I need more accountability than once per week to keep me focused and on track.I'm drinking tea after dinner.
This is nothing more than something to take my mind off getting some slides on, walking down to Seven Eleven and coming back home with two Ben & Jerry's tubs. It makes me feel better than eating a tub of B&J's.
