Wednesday Wisdom: Build Muscle With This Essential Technique

This is a surefire way to ensure you’re training hard enough to build muscle ⚡️

When you lower the weight for an exercise and then lift the weight, it will be fast (especially the reps earlier on in the set because you are fresh).

As you get more fatigued, when you lift the weight it will get slower and slower as your muscles get closer to failure.

The reps will transition from voluntary reps where you have complete control of the weight, into involuntary reps, where you longer have complete control over the weight and your concentric rep speed (the speed at whch you lift the weight) will slow.

This sounds like a bad thing but this everything that you want from a set of an exercise.

This ensures you have 'muscle building reps' in your set.

"If your reps aren't slowing, you're muscles aren't growing."
